Areas of expertise

Osteopathy: Looks at the integrity of the muscular-skeletal system as well as the integrity of the viscera. Using gentle manipulation this treatment can work to restore both balance and symmetry to the body as a whole, focusing on correct neurological and vascular supply to all the organs from the heart to the adrenal glands. Balancing muscular-skeletal system helps ensure that the body is working at its best.

Cranial Osteopathy is a powerful adjunct to conventional osteopathy. It works on what is known as the “involuntary mechanism”. This is a way of directly and very gently affecting the neurological system by re-balancing the flow of spinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. It is a highly effective technique when treating depression, anxiety, insomnia and other stress related complaints. It is also of great use when treating infants and children.

Naturopathy and Nutrition: A combination of these two disciplines is fundamental to what Dr Marc Farah does. Whether gently detoxifying the body, trying to lose weight or boosting the immune system, naturopathy and nutrition can be used to great effect. This is supported via an extensive research based food supplement programme.

Acupuncture and Dry Needling: Needles have been used for over 2,000 years to help re-balance low energy, increase blood flow and restore function to organs such as the liver and kidneys. Acupuncture is also very effective in managing numerous aches and pains, from headaches to back pain.

Clinical Ecology is a medical discipline that considers the internal flora and fauna of the intestine and body. Health of the intestines and digestive system are fundamental to the overall health of our immune system. Clinical ecology works to identify areas in the gut that may be suffering and works to rebalance the internal environment of the body. This is done by looking at a number of different aspects of your physiology and getting a very detailed profile of your lifestyle and habits. This allows us to build a detailed model of your body and to go about treating any possible dysfunction.

Diagnosis is made via detailed questioning, measuring of salivary PH, blood tests, analysis for toxicity, allergy determination, stool analysis for parasitic and fungal detection as well as hair analysis to measure the level of environmental toxins in the body.

All the above disciplines will be seamlessly meshed together to offer one of the most comprehensive, digestible, holistic, and effective ways to treat all patients and families whatever their demands, needs, goals and expectations.

Skill Sets and Tools “Bolt ons.” A select and unique bolt on service is also available to patients and their families depending on their needs and preferences. This can include counselling, meditation, yoga, Pilates and the Lotte Berk Exercise Method
